About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Audit Assistant to join our team at NORIZA & CO', a leading accounting firm in Alor Setar, Kedah. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting our audit processes and helping to ensure the financial health and compliance of our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements

Performing detailed financial reviews and analyses

Documenting audit findings and preparing reports

Collaborating with the audit team to identify risks and recommend improvements

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date audit records and documentation

Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the audit process

What we're looking for

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field

1-3 years of experience in an audit or accounting role, preferably within a professional services firm

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office suite

A keen interest in staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
