Overview
To support the CSC HR Service Delivery Team, ensuring efficient delivery of centralized HR services while fostering a culture of service excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all centralized HR services provided to business groups, including payroll administration, employee data management, and benefits support.
- Ensure service levels, quality standards, and timelines are consistently met across all HR functions.
- Act as the point of escalation for HR service issues, payroll queries, or employee concerns.
- Lead, coach, and develop the CSC HR Service Delivery Team and Function Leads (HR operations, payroll, IR / ER).
- Define roles, set expectations, and build a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
- Ensure team members are trained and kept updated on policies, payroll procedures, industrial relations practices, business processes, and HR technologies.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments, statutory contributions, and compliance with local regulations.
- Partner with Finance and IT to maintain proper controls, audit readiness, and continuous improvements in payroll efficiency and accuracy.
- Handle escalated payroll issues and ensure resolution within agreed timelines.
- Provide guidance on industrial relations matters, including union engagement, collective bargaining, and compliance with labor laws.
- Advise management on handling grievances, disciplinary cases, and employee disputes in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Foster positive employee relations by supporting initiatives that enhance communication, engagement, and workplace harmony.
- Analyze failed service levels, implement corrective actions, and follow up promptly.
- Initiate process improvements, efficiency projects, and best practices to enhance service quality across HR, payroll, and IR / ER functions.
- Manage and control the HR service delivery and payroll budgets, including cost recovery.
- Recommend and implement measures to improve cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Plan staffing requirements for HR, payroll, and IR / ER functions, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Keep the team flexible to meet changing demand while maintaining service standards.
- Roll out CSC HR, payroll, and ER / IR services across business groups and locations in line with corporate HR policies.
- Align service delivery strategies with business goals and leverage SAP eHR and payroll capabilities.
- Coordinate with IT support teams to resolve infrastructure, network, telephony, payroll, and SAP issues.
- Ensure IT-related problems do not impact HR, payroll, or employee relations service delivery.
