About the role

AKC SALES & MARKETING PLT' is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with various sales and administrative tasks to support the overall success of our retail operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Responding to customer inquiries and addressing any concerns
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organised sales floor
  • Restocking and organising product displays
  • Processing sales transactions and handling cash and payments
  • Providing feedback on customer trends and product demands
  • Performing administrative duties, such as data entry and inventory management

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Basic numerical and computer skills to handle sales transactions and administrative tasks
  • A flexible and adaptable mindset to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities
