- Knowing what to cut, what to censor, and what to keep
- Having a feel for pacing, tone, and humor
- Understanding English wordplay, internet culture, and meme timing
Requirements
Fluent in English (not perfect, just enough to understand and use wordplay)Familiar with fast-paced YouTube content (especially for kids and teens)Able to work independently and manage your own timeOwn a laptop or PC that can handle long‑form video editsComfortable using any editing software — results matter more than toolsResponsibilities
Editing YouTube gaming‑style content geared toward a younger audienceApplying good editing instincts to make cuts that enhance clarity, humor, and pacingOccasionally adding fun captions, jokes, or effects where appropriateDelivering a consistent number of videos per month, based on mutual agreement and workloadApplicants must have a strong understanding of American internet culture, gaming lingo, and video pacing commonly found in YouTube gaming content. Familiarity with trends in children’s and teen content, including humor, memes, and pacing styles that cater to short attention spans and high‑energy viewing (aka “brainrot” content), is highly preferred.Job Types
