Key Responsibilities
- Determine target respondents and establish an appropriate sampling design
- Develop questionnaires based on working hypotheses
- Prior experience in hypothesis building is not required
- Coordinate with external research agencies to ensure smooth project execution
- Analyze research deliverables, including cross-tabulation and insight generation
- Identify and select suitable target respondents for each study
- Develop discussion guides and question frameworks tailored to project objectives
- Liaise with research agencies to align on methodologies, timelines, and outcomes
- Moderate Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) or In-Depth Interviews (IDIs) when required
- Participate in consumer sessions and derive insights directly from participants’ feedback
Research stages as follows :
Concept Development Stage : Conduct consumer research to define strategic direction for product planning or new business ideasProduct Materialization Stage : Perform acceptance testing for design, copy or functional evaluation once the product or service concept is finalizedPost Launch Stage : Carry out post-launch evaluations and effectiveness measurements to assess consumer responses and overall business outcomesKey Requirements
Any faculty can apply. Bachelor's / Professional Degree in Business Management, Marketing, STEM faculty or a related field is advantageous in terms of job description.Minimum of four (4) years of product planning and product development experience within FMCG companies. Experience in beauty and cosmetics is a plus.Required languages : English & Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of other languages is advantageous.Proficiency in computer skills, MS Office and consumer survey.A team player with a pleasant personality and strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish good working relationships with internal and external parties.Ability to thrive in a team environment while also having the capability to work independently.Creativity and commercial awareness, especially in the beauty, cosmetics, and personal care industries, both online and offline.Highly motivated, organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a challenging and fast‑paced working environment.Overall, this job requires both of logical and lateral thinking.
