Job description

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Electrical Design Engineer :

Job Responsibilities :

  • Prepare schematic designs, site installation layouts, calculations, technical reports, and specifications for automation equipment panels.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve project-related electrical and automation design issues.
  • Generate Bills of Materials (BOM) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents.
  • Coordinate with contractors for automation panel fabrication.
  • Prepare and support documentation for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of automation equipment panels.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure equipment acceptance prior to delivery to site.
  • Provide technical support during site installation.
  • Maintain and update circuit diagrams, control devices, and equipment installation layouts.

Job Requirements :

  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
  • Knowledge of control system automation design (both hardware and software) is essential.
  • Experience in motor control, PLC-based control systems, and electrical hardware / software design will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design software such as AutoCAD or EPLAN Electric P8.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience in wiring assembly and panel installation is advantageous.

  • Salary : Up to MYR 6,000 + VB (1 - 2 Months)
  • Working Location :  Bayan Lepas
  • Working Hours : 5 Days Work, Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm
