Position Overview

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing King’s Park Genting Highlands’ digital presence across multiple platforms. This role combines creative content creation, paid advertising management, and community engagement to strengthen the brand as a world-class tourism and lifestyle destination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with King’s Park’s brand, vision, and target audiences (tourists, investors, tenants, and partners).
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging, high-quality content (images, videos, reels, stories, blogs, infographics, etc.) across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Xiaohongshu, etc.).
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Events, Sales, PR, Investor Relations) to craft campaigns that promote township attractions, lifestyle experiences, real estate launches, and CSR initiatives.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic reflecting King’s Park’s luxury, cultural, and lifestyle identity.

Paid Media & Advertising

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.) to drive awareness, engagement, lead generation, and conversions.
  • Monitor ad performance, budget utilization, and ROI to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with digital agencies and partners for specialized campaign execution.
  • Community Management & Engagement

  • Build and manage online communities by engaging with followers, responding to inquiries, and moderating user-generated content.
  • Foster relationships with influencers, media outlets, and brand collaborators to amplify King’s Park’s reach.
  • Track sentiment and feedback to continuously improve brand perception.
  • Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve engagement, content performance, and ad effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends, algorithms, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Other Related Scopes

  • Oversee content calendars, scheduling, and timely posting.
  • Support onsite content production during events, launches, and visits by dignitaries / partners.
  • Ensure compliance with brand, legal, and cultural sensitivities in all digital content.
  • Work closely with Graphic Designers, and the PR team to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in tourism, hospitality, or real estate sectors.
  • Strong portfolio of creative content (including reels, campaigns, and visuals).
  • Proficiency in social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Hootsuite, etc.) and analytics platforms.
  • Experience in managing ad budgets and running performance campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual (Mandarin, Malay, or others) is a plus.
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of qualified leads generated.
  • Value and number of deals closed across leasing and other business components.
  • Conversion rate from presentations to signed agreements.
  • Contribution to achieving overall business development targets.
  • Seniority level : Mid-Senior level
