SAP Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead, plan, and manage the SAP Data Migration solutions for our organization. The SAP Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, including defining the project scope, coordinating project teams, ensuring timelines and budgets are met, and delivering successful integration and deployment of SAP systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with extensive knowledge of SAP systems.

What we’re looking for

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management; define and document objectives, deliverables, and milestones; coordinate execution to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Team Leadership and Coordination : Lead cross-functional teams of SAP consultants, business analysts, and technical resources; facilitate effective communication among internal stakeholders, partners, and external consultants; assign tasks and monitor progress.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management : Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and partners; regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management; conduct project meetings and reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Risk and Issue Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; address issues timely and escalate when necessary; ensure governance, quality standards, and industry best practices are followed.
  • Budget and Resource Management : Develop and manage project budgets; optimize resource allocation; monitor expenditures and provide financial tracking and reporting.
  • SAP System Integration and Deployment : Manage system testing, validation, and user acceptance; ensure proper documentation and post-implementation support; identify opportunities for process improvements and apply lessons learned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing SAP data migration projects.
  • Proven track record of leading SAP implementations (preferably across modules such as SAP FICO, MM, SD).
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of SAP solutions, business processes, and system integration.
  • Excellent project management skills, with familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • SAP Project Management Certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with SAP S / 4HANA or recent SAP versions.
