As part of the Broker team, you will collaborate with broking teams across solution lines to focus on the development of structured reinsurance solutions, including loss portfolio transfers and / or adverse development covers. You will participate in helping to develop sales and marketing strategies to cultivate revenue generation opportunities. Skills and experience that will lead to success
Excellent knowledge and understanding of reinsurance Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with major clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships Excellent communicator (verbal and written) with internal and external clients Entrepreneurial attitude with keen negotiation, business acumen and problem-solving skills Strong organization and time-management skills, able to multitask and manage projects Self-starter who is committed to delivering the highest quality client service, results, and satisfaction Ability to embrace change in support of the business unit’s and company’s goals Proficient, if not expert, with Microsoft Excel or similar tools (e.g., R or Python) Working knowledge of MS Office; ability to learn and use multiple software and system-based applications Professional demeanor with a positive attitude Ability to travel A minimum of 5 years broking and / or underwriting commercial lines experience, with a focus on property and casualty A minimum of 5 years in a technical / analytical role (e.g., actuary, catastrophe modeling, or capital modeling) Required education and certifications critical for the role
Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS) in a technical core is positive but not required. Examples include ACAS, FCAS, ASA, FSA, or a bachelor’s / master’s in a math-focused concentration (e.g., applied statistics, mathematics). How we support our colleagues

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $140,000 USD annually. The actual salary will vary based on education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on geographic location. This position may be eligible to participate in Aon’s annual incentive plan for a discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
