Job description

Requirements

Degree / diploma in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
Minimum 5 years working experience, particularly in the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors. Knowledge of industrial process plant and equipment fabrication and installation would be an added advantage.
Candidate must have skills and knowledge in project management.
Familiarity with ASME code will be an added advantage.
Analytical and enquiring mind.
Energetic with a “Can do” attitude.
Disciplined and team player.
Good written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin speaker will be added advantage
Computer literate.
Willing to travel (Malaysia / Overseas).

Responsibilities

To lead the project team which include supervisors and workers.

Responsible for liaison with client, consultant and authority as per contract requirement.

Ensure project is carried out in accordance with the company’s QMS.

Monitoring progress of sub-contractors and suppliers.

Responsible for overall project QA / QC and safety requirement.

Responsible for bidding or tender for the respective department.

Analyse technical proposals for bidding or tender.

To provide technical support and manage workshop fabrication.

To work with Management to implement internal Project Control tools.

Report to Management on Power Plant progress, costs, schedules, safety, quality etc.

Identify, communicate and manage risk.
