WordPress Web Designer – Roles & Responsibilities

WordPress Proficiency

Experience in designing and managing WordPress websites.
Familiarity with the WordPress dashboard, plugins, and themes.
Backup and upgrade WordPress account.
Proficient in using Elementor Pro for designing responsive, modern, and functional websites.
Understanding of Elementor templates, widgets, and customisations.

Key Abilities

Communication and Collaboration : Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with the website developer; ability to understand and convey technical requirements or feedback.

Problem-Solving Ability : Able to troubleshoot issues with design, plugins, or coding conflicts; creative mindset to implement solutions efficiently.

Willingness to Learn : Eager to learn new tools and technologies (like Elementor Pro, if not already familiar); staying updated with the latest trends in web design and development.

Key Responsibilities

Design and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor Pro.

Customise themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

Collaborate with developers to implement advanced functionalities.

Troubleshoot design and layout issues.

Optimise websites for performance, responsiveness, and SEO.

Stay updated on the latest design trends and WordPress advancements.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with SEO best practices.

Experience in integrating third-party tools and APIs.

Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma).
