Worldpanel by Numerator is Hiring across APAC now. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Job title : Consumer Insights Manager

Are you inquisitive, creative, hardworking, and driven? Do you enjoy leading a team? We are looking for an Account Manager to be part of our team, passionate about bringing compelling insights to our partners and supporting long-term revenue growth for Worldpanel Malaysia.

This role blends on-the-job development with knowledge exchange and formal learning as you progress in your career.

Responsibilities

  • Client Partnership – Establish rapport with clients to drive and grow day-to-day relationships, understand their business, objectives and challenges.
  • Collaborate with client functions across sales, insight teams, and board level as appropriate.
  • Deliver and monitor contractual obligations, ensure client satisfaction, resolve issues, and implement improvements.
  • Lead relevant training activities for clients.
  • Commercial Growth – Support revenue commitments and identify opportunities to expand services with clients; contribute to proposals.
  • Participate in projects to drive expertise and business expansion for Kantar Worldpanel in Malaysia.
  • Insights Generation – Ensure production of analyses and presentations in response to client briefs; deliver presentations with insights and recommendations aligned to client objectives.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a learning culture.

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of experience in Research, Marketing or Advertising, ideally in FMCG.
  • Curious mindset with a clear point of view.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with commercial application.
  • Professional, courteous, service-oriented, and solution-focused.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to large audiences.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent client servicing skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Team player who can also work independently; well-organized with strong time management.
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word; knowledge of statistical / analytical techniques is an advantage.
  • Demonstrates integrity and strong networking, with a desire to motivate and develop others.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
