Our client is an established Telecommunications MVNO service provider in the region, currently expanding their remote team in Malaysia and seeking FP&A professionals to join their mobile business operations as a Senior FP&A Analyst.

Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Independently support the finance business partnership requirements for businesses in the Group’s Business Units.
  • Own FP&A activities including monthly close, developing and maintaining business models, budgeting, and supporting relevant business / functional heads to understand performance versus budget of the BUs and Group. Take ownership of monthly close activities for Group's entities.
  • Consolidation of monthly results to produce monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flows.
  • Consolidation of BU forecasts to produce BU forecasts and budget
  • Support in producing quarterly updates and monthly to Board of Directors
  • Business Scenario analysis and Forecasting : Perform various scenario analysis to assess impact on P&L and cash flows

Key Requirements :

  • 7-8 years of relevant FP&A experience. Knowledge of the mobile business and relevant KPIs is advantageous.
  • Communication : Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accounting Knowledge : Strong understanding of accounting rules with the ability to accurately model balance sheet and cash flow statements with minimal supervision. CPA / ACCA certification is an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with ability to analyse large data sets and derive conclusions to aid decision making. Ability to work remotely and develop detailed P&L and cashflow models with limited supervision
