Job description

Requirements

  • Certificate / Diploma in Drafting, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential); Revit / BIM experience is a plus.
  • 1–3 years of relevant drafting experience in electrical, solar projects is a plus.
  • Familiar with authority submission standards and technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and version control discipline.
  • Able to work independently and meet drawing deadlines under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Draft and update electrical drawings including :

  • LV, MV, and ELV layouts
  • Single-line diagrams (SLDs)
  • Cable routing and trunking
  • Solar PV system layouts, string configuration & inverter connection (if applicable)
  • Prepare and revise drawings based on mark-ups, site conditions, or consultant comments.
  • Produce as-built drawings based on redline updates from site teams.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements and relevant authority standards (e.g., TNB, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, SEDA).
  • Assist in compiling, organizing, and binding of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals for submission during project handover.
  • Maintain accurate drawing registers and documentation records.
  • Coordinate with site and technical teams to clarify design or resolve discrepancies.
  • Support technical meetings and documentation coordination when required.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Head of Project or Top Management.
