Your new role

As a Senior Accountant, you will support the financial accounting activities across the APAC region.

  • Record and process accounting transactions, including client and supplier invoices, journals, and expense claims.
  • Lead the monthly accounts closing process, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage daily bank transactions, ensure accurate bank reconciliations in NetSuite, and maintain bank statement records.
  • Update cash records on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Assist the Regional Finance Manager with payroll and expense reports.
  • Perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and prepare P&L schedules.
  • Maintain the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports.
  • Support debt control activities and fixed asset accounting.
  • Liaise with external auditors during annual audits.
  • Assist with VAT / GST and annual tax filings.
  • Prepare and create online banking instructions.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or otehr relevant edcuation; it is a PLUS to have a professioanl qualification
  • Practical experience in financial transaction processing, journals, and reconciliations.
  • Proven ability to identify, report, and resolve accounting issues and discrepancies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite is preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and demonstrate self-motivation and responsibility.
