Senior DevOps Engineer

Our client is a Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform, offering end-to-end solutions for buying, selling, financing, and owning used cars.

Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for actively supporting the Product & Technology team for all technical aspects of the IT infrastructure and shared services. The role also provides guidance to junior members to help them to level up their skillset to better support the group.

• Maintain service uptime for all production infrastructures.
• Monitor production systems’ performance and activity.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities.
• Install, administer, and maintain existing and new configurations.
• Plan and maintain development, test, and production environments with continuous integration.
• Manage release deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Contribute actively to knowledge sharing across the team.
• Provide standby / on-call support during off-office hours to resolve critical issues.
• Recommend improvements and research emerging technologies to enhance business performance.
• Attend weekly progress meetings with the line manager.
• Provide support during project rollouts and deployments.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the line manager.
• Prepare reports, including system performance and incident reports, in line with ITIL framework standards.
