Site Supervisor

Guang Lei Steel Structure is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our project teams in Malaysia. This full-time position will play a crucial role in overseeing on-site activities, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise and manage daily site activities, ensuring that construction work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that project schedules and milestones are met.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

Conduct regular site inspections and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.

Monitor and report on progress, delays, and other issues to senior management and stakeholders.

Manage the workforce on-site, including organizing daily tasks, assigning duties, and ensuring efficient use of resources.

Ensure that materials and equipment are delivered on time and used correctly, and maintain a record of site inventory.

Oversee the implementation of quality control procedures and ensure that all work is compliant with industry standards.

Facilitate the smooth coordination between internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Prepare site reports, including daily progress reports, safety checks, and other necessary documentation.

Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and professionally.

Liaise with clients and consultants to ensure their requirements and expectations are met on-site.

Job Requirements :

Diploma or higher qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a site supervisor, preferably in the steel structure or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of site operations, construction methodologies, and safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.

Good leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise on-site personnel.

Strong communication skills in English and Malay (both spoken and written).

Basic proficiency in Mandarin is a plus when working with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Proficient in MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other site management tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
