Store Manager / Assistant Manager (Sunway Carnival) – JD Sports SEA Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

JD Sports expanded into Malaysia in 2016 and operates across South East Asia with over 900 stores in 21 territories. Responsibilities

• Manage the store team with a focus on driving sales and maximizing store profitability while delivering industry-leading service on the high street.
• Exceed store KPIs and maintain company standards by following guidelines and representing the business professionally.
• Customer Service
• Maintain customer retention by providing first-class service.
• Deal with inquiries and complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Drive consistency within internal teams to achieve the highest service levels.
• Understand the Customer Service measurement program (Observation Checklist).
• Sales
• Ensure targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded.
• Analyse Oracle reports (Wall Sales Report, Branch Review Report, Top Sales Report, etc.) to inform sales decisions.
• Manage in-store devices to capitalise on a wider range of products.
• Use Trade Review Report to analyse Footfall, Average Transaction Value, and conversion, applying insights to the store environment.
• Visual Merchandising
• Apply weekly briefs to maintain high visual standards.
• Attract, engage, and motivate customers using current visual techniques.
• Ensure new products and advertised products are visible and correctly located.
• Keep mannequins, displays, and windows updated per Visual Merchandising guidelines.
• Training & Development
• Develop existing team members and encourage progression within the company.
• Hold regular in-store training meetings to maintain high standards.
• Track internal progression and ensure all personnel complete relevant E-Assessments.
