About Us
Albert Wines & Spirits is expanding our footprint across Malaysia and seeking a Business Development Manager to oversee sales and market development in Johor Bahru and Melaka — two promising and fast-growing F&B regions.
This is a remote leadership role, ideal for someone who can independently grow markets, manage accounts, and execute high-impact sales strategies aligned with HQ.
Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will lead all sales activities in Johor Bahru and Melaka. You will grow client portfolios, develop new opportunities, coordinate promotions, and ensure targets are met across On-Trade and Off-Trade channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and build strong market presence in Johor Bahru & Melaka.
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts (restaurants, bars, cafés, retailers, grocers, specialty stores).
- Identify new business opportunities and secure product placements.
- Conduct client visits, product training, and tasting sessions.
- Coordinate order fulfilment and collection matters with HQ teams.
- Implement local promotions, brand campaigns, and regional activations.
- Monitor market movement, pricing trends, and competitor activity.
- Provide weekly action reports and monthly performance summaries.
- Achieve monthly sales and account acquisition targets.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in FMCG, beverage, beer, or F&B sales.Experience in the beer industry is a major plus .Proven experience in territory management and key account development.Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.Able to work independently with minimal supervision.Familiarity with Johor Bahru and Melaka F&B landscapes is a strong advantage.Own transport required; willing to travel within the region.Passion for wines, spirits, and lifestyle brands.Why Join Us
