Qualifications & experience

Studies in animal science is an added advantage

Preferably some experience working in the veterinary setup environment

Tasks & responsibilities

Patient Care : Monitor the health and well‑being of animals before, during, and after surgery or treatment, including administering medications

Assisting Vets : Support veterinary doctors during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures by preparing the necessary equipment and instruments.

Animal Restraint : Safely and effectively restrain animals for examinations and procedures to minimize stress and ensure safety.

Emergency Response : Assist in emergency situations, providing first aid and emergency care as needed until a veterinarian can take over.

Anesthesia Monitoring : Observe and monitor patients during anesthesia for surgery, ensuring vital signs are stable and reporting any changes.
