Requirements
Academic Qualifications
Minimum SPM / STPM / Diploma in a relevant field (Business, Communications, Hospitality, etc.).
A bachelor's degree is an advantage.
2. Experience
At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or the wedding & events industry.
Experience in closing deals and managing customer relationships is highly encouraged.
3. Required Skills
Excellent communication skills in both BM and English (oral and written).
Proficient in using WhatsApp, Google Sheets, CRM, or basic sales systems.
Possess strong follow-up skills, time management, and the ability to work systematically.
Skilled at using supporting materials such as brochures, videos, or digital quotations.
4. Personality & Attitude
Presentable and professional appearance, friendly towards customers, patient, and adept at handling various types of customers.
Proactive, disciplined, and capable of working independently.
Always willing to learn and accept feedback.
Focused on achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Commitment & Work Schedule
Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, or evenings (depending on event or customer meeting requirements).
Able to be present at various locations (venues, boutiques, or expos) as required by the job.
6. Others
Possession of a valid driver's license and owning a vehicle is an advantage.
Willing to participate in sales training sessions and consultation script enhancement.
Responsibilities
Sales & Closing
Achieve individual sales target of RM 200,000 – RM 250,000 per month .
Meet customers in person or online, provide package information, and help them choose the right option.
Close sales professionally and neatly.
Follow-Up Leads
Contact and follow up with all assigned leads within 24–48 hours .
Ensure consistent follow-up and achieve a conversion rate of at least 25–30% .
Complete Documentation & Paperwork
Prepare EO (Event Order), quotation, invoice, and proposal independently – MANDATORY.
Ensure documents are complete, accurate, and ready before closing a deal.
Collaborate with admin (if applicable) to finalize templates and store records.
Data & CRM
Update CRM / Google Sheets with correct status (no missing info).
Ensure all records are up to date and ready for reporting.
Reporting & Communication
Submit weekly / monthly reports to manager / senior sales on time.
Provide feedback on progress and any challenges encountered.
Service Quality & Customer Satisfaction
Deliver professional and friendly service – minimum customer rating of 4.5 / 5 .
Ensure customers fully understand and are satisfied with the package and information provided.
Teamwork & Event Support
Attend open days, expos, and all company events .
Assist other team members when necessary (teamwork-based environment).
Customer Service Standards
Respond to any customer inquiries within 24 hours .
Maintain a neat and professional appearance when dealing with clients.
Always be friendly, polite, and attentive to customer needs.
Complete Sales Process : A. Receive Leads from Hall Place
Review and understand customer information sent via official channels (WhatsApp group, CRM, or system).
Ensure leads are contacted within 24–48 hours .
B. Respond to Customer Inquiries
Provide immediate responses to questions via WhatsApp, calls, or walk-ins.
Identify the customer’s needs before the appointment session.
C. Manage First Appointment
Schedule and conduct the first session (physical or online) with the customer.
Use official consultation scripts and supporting materials (video, brochure, live quote).
D. Conduct Food Tasting (if applicable)
Arrange food tasting appointments.
Explain the menu and package value during the session.
E. Collect Deposit
Complete booking documents and collect initial deposit (according to SOP).
Ensure the customer understands the payment terms and policies.
F. Prepare & Update Quotation
Prepare official quotations and ensure all details are accurate.
Finalize the quotation before sharing IT with the customer.
G. Issue EO Card (Event Order)
Prepare the complete EO document once the deposit is received.
Submit it to relevant departments such as production and operations.
H. Attire Consultation / Additional Consultation
Refer customers to the boutique or bridal assistant if necessary.
Act as a coordinator between the customer and other departments.
I. Finalize Quotation & Prepare for Weekly Meeting
All completed quotations must be finalized with the customer and submitted before the Weekly Meeting (every Tuesday) .
Ensure details in the quotation are accurate, including :
Event date, number of guests, chosen package, menu / service add-ons, and discounts (if any).
Finalized quotations must be signed by the customer as confirmation.
The signed quotation copy must be filed in the system and / or submitted to the collection unit for reference.
Incomplete or unconfirmed quotations will not be included in the weekly report.
This ensures all presented weekly reports are accurate and avoids delays in venue, kitchen, and production arrangements.
J. Retain Relationship / After-Sales Follow-Up
Conduct follow-ups after the event.
Collect testimonials & reviews, and maintain the relationship for future referrals.
