About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP BIM COORDINATOR and Senior MEP BIM Modeller to join our growing team at H&T CONSULTING ENGINEERS's subsidiary H&T BIM DIGITAL ENGINEERING in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of complex engineering projects through the use of advanced MEP BIM (Building Information Modelling) technologies.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and coordinating BIM models for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems up to Level 2 LOD 500.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure BIM models are integrated and aligned with architectural, structural and other disciplines
  • Generating detailed shop drawings, fabrication models and construction documentation from the BIM models
  • Performing clash detection and coordinating the resolution of issues across disciplines
  • Providing BIM and MEP subject matter expertise to project teams
  • Mentoring and training junior BIM modellers to develop their skills
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and best practices

What we're looking for

  • 8+ and 5+ years of experience in MEP BIM modelling and coordination for coordinator and senior post respectively, ideally within a consulting engineering and construction firm
  • Proficient in the use of BIM software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and other related tools
  • Thorough understanding of MEP engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards
  • Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Tertiary qualification in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering
