Job Description & Summary

A career within Corporate Tax services will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients plan and meet their tax objectives while managing the impact tax has on their business and supporting them with paying the right amount of taxes. You’ll advise clients on their tax affairs and help them navigate the complex and evolving tax landscape. Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post-tax profits to shareholders, and providing application support to achieve the best outcome to our client’s important problems.

Responsibilities

Your role will offer you exposure to a high standard of tax consultancy work on a diverse client base.

  • Tax Compliance - Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax and other applicable taxes to the tax authorities.
  • Tax Planning - Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position, minimize tax liabilities, and manage risks.
  • Advisory - Provide expert advice on tax implications for business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and new business ventures.
  • Reporting - Prepare and review tax provision calculations for financial statements and ensure proper accounting for all tax-related items.
  • Regulatory Monitoring - Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and assess the impact on the company’s tax position.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and business units, to ensure alignment on tax-related matters.

  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and / or professional qualification.
  • Strong tax technical knowledge with at least 2-3 years of working experience in tax compliance and consultancy, ideally in a professional services organization.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent client management and ability to work in a diversified team.
  • A good level of commercial awareness.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with supporting business development efforts to advertise our services and secure new clients.
  • Possess good spoken and written skills.
