The individual will perform a wide range of analytics to support the company’s growth and risk management strategies. The position works under the Accident & Health Experience Analysis team in Actuarial Office supporting regional and local business initiatives including claims experience studies.
Job Description
- To supervise / monitor data reconciliation with Finance, Claims departments and identify the gap of discrepancy and provide findings.
- To produce regular experience analysis reports at a high level of granularity for Accident and Health plans, in support of the Company’s medical claim management strategy
- To work closely with the business and operation teams (ie. claim, underwriting, agency, marketing, etc.) to understand business requirements and to formulate an analytical work plan based on the stated
- objectives
- Execute the analytical work plan end-to-end from producing data requirements, extracting data to completing the analysis and presenting the results / analytic insights to business user
- Develop deep understanding of operational and business data and continuously improve existing workflow
- To support the data generation / IBNR calculation for IFRS17.
Requirements
Degree in Actuarial Science or other quantitative disciplinePreferred to have passed at least 4 professional actuarial examinationsKnowledge in Prophet, DCS and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerBI).6+ years’ experience in actuarial fieldCoding knowledge and experience in SQL, R, Python, SAS and / or other open source
