The new role

• Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.
• Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to IT.
• Diagnose and repair faults.
• Resolve and monitor network issues.
• Install and configure hardware and software.
• Replace or repair the necessary parts.
• Test and evaluate new technologies.

Requirements to succeed

You should have a degree in IT or Computer Science with 3 years of working experience as a Desktop Engineer or in a related field. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills are vital for this role. Ideally, you should be result-oriented, adaptable, motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaborate well with your team members.
