MANUAL AUTOMATION TESTER : CANTONESE SPEAKER

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Schedule : Onsite | Monday to Friday | 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM

Employment Type : Full-Time / Permanent

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual and Automation Tester who can effectively communicate in Cantonese to support testing activities for our projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation — test cases, test plans, and test reports.
  • Conduct regression, functional, integration, and UAT testing.
  • Communicate test results and issues clearly in both Cantonese and English to stakeholders and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
  • Hands‑on experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of test design techniques and defect lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills in Cantonese (mandatory) and English.

  • ISTQB or similar testing certification.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured).
  • Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
