We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead system integration, fluid system assembly, and component-level manufacturing engineering for complex industrial equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and fluid delivery system integration, with proven experience managing the transition from engineering design to full-scale production.
This role is a cornerstone position in developing C-Hawk Malaysia’s long-term capability as a center of excellence for fluid system manufacturing and integration, with potential progression into a Director-level leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead system-level integration of mechanical, electrical, and fluid subsystems into complete assemblies.
- Oversee component-level manufacturing engineering, including fixture design, assembly process optimization, and build sequencing.
- Develop and execute detailed integration and assembly plans, ensuring manufacturability, repeatability, and quality compliance.
- Review and approve system and component drawings, BOMs, and test documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Production, Supply Chain, and Quality – to ensure alignment throughout design and build phases.
- Drive DFMA (Design for Manufacturability & Assembly) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership in system troubleshooting, configuration management, and engineering change control.
- Mentor and develop engineers to strengthen local competency in fluid system integration and complex assembly.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure technical readiness and manufacturability of components and subassemblies.
- Support factory readiness and qualification testing to enable production ramp-up.
Experience Requirements
10–15 years of experience in capital equipment, semiconductor, or automation system integration.Minimum 5 years in managerial or senior technical leadership overseeing both system-level and component-level builds.Proven track record in fluid delivery systems or fluid handling assemblies.Experience managing cross-functional engineering projects and leading large integration programs.Hands‑on experience with FAT / SAT, testing, and qualification of mechanical or process systems.Familiar with PLM, ERP, and digital manufacturing systems.Experience developing assembly jigs, fixtures, and documentation for manufacturing transfer.Fluid Delivery Systems, given the alignment with both Cleaning Core and FDS / LDM programs, and to include component-level manufacturing engineering oversight.Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, 3D modeling, and manufacturing process documentation.
