Work on product development and merchandising processes for the handbags category, including range planning, pricing, and product launches
Manage the design and production process from ideation to final product
Conduct market research to identify current trends and consumer preferences
Work closely with suppliers and factories to ensure timely and high-quality production
Monitor inventory levels and ensure stores are stocked with the right types and quantities of products to optimize sales and profitability, especially for bestsellers
Oversee visual merchandising (VM) for retail counters, ensuring consistent brand image and effective product presentation
Plan and coordinate the setup of POP-UPs and new store openings, including layout, display setup, and product presentation
Support the marketing communications (MARCOM) team by assisting with artwork development for promotional materials such as POP cards, banners, and other point-of-sale displays
Liaise with factories to obtain bulk product photos and accurate descriptions for e-commerce listings
Provide sales support during sales events to ensure smooth operations and maximize sales performance
Key Requirements
1–2 years of experience in fashion, accessories, or retail merchandising
Proven experience in handbag design or product development preferred
Strong aesthetic sense and creativity in product design
Practical experience using Illustrator, Photoshop, and other business software (Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese
Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and work independently
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility
