This role calls for a forward-thinking scholar-educator whose contributions will drive excellence in teaching, research, and professional engagement. You will lead curriculum enhancement, mentor early-career academics, and spearhead innovative research—empowering students.

Responsibilities

Academic Leadership & Innovative Teaching

Provide academic leadership in planning, developing, and delivering high-impact lectures, seminars, and workshops for diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate (including master’s and doctoral) programmes.

Champion advanced, student-centered teaching practices and digital learning integration, setting standards for excellence and inclusivity in the classroom.

Lead curriculum design, review, accreditation activities (e.g., MQA), and alignment with industry advancements.

Supervise and mentor undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in research, projects, and dissertations to the highest academic standards.

Guide, develop, and inspire junior academics and teaching teams, fostering a collegial and supportive environment.

Lead staff development initiatives within the Faculty.

Research, Scholarly Activities & Intellectual Leadership

Lead significant, original research programs, publish in top-tier peer-reviewed journals, and present at high-profile national and international conferences.

Secure competitive research grants and forge collaborations with academic and industry partners.

Contribute to knowledge transfer, capacity-building, and consultancy projects that elevate the profession and societal wellbeing.

Drive continuous improvement in academic programmes through innovation, benchmarking, and strategic planning.

Contribute to faculty committees, policy formulation, institutional governance, and outreach, enhancing the University’s profile and student recruitment.

Industry, Community & Professional Engagement

Establish and maintain impactful industry, government, community, and professional networks to foster graduate employability and applied research.

Act as an ambassador for the University, serving on professional panels, advisory boards, and in external engagement activities.

Professional Growth & Lifelong Learning

Demonstrate ongoing commitment to personal and professional development through advanced training, conference participation, and scholarly leadership.

Mentor others in pursuing academic and professional growth, promoting a culture of lifelong learning.
