Senior Analyst, Tax Compliance

Job Summary

Responsible for handling US Income Tax compliance and accounting as well as related functions, including information and data gathering for the preparation of US income tax returns.

You will be part of our tax team based in Malaysia and involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders. This position also supports tax audits and contributes to the improvement of tax processes and controls.

Job Responsibilities.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information required for US income tax reporting and accounting;
• Perform data review, mapping, reconciliation and analysis in accordance with US income tax statutory requirements;
• Monitor changes in US tax legislation and assess their impact on the companies' compliance obligations;
• Attend to queries from internal stakeholders;
• Support tax audits by preparing documentations and addressing inquiries from internal stakeholders or auditors;
• Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with statutory and internal documentation requirements;
• Contributes to automation and digitalization initiatives related to US income tax compliance processes.
