About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our team at Commune Lifestyle Sdn Bhd , a leading lifestyle brand based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur . In this full-time position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive new business growth and market expansion for our range of products and services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the continued success and growth of our brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Develop and execute effective sales plans and campaigns to acquire new clients and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and other internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and retention.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform and refine business development strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports and performance updates for management.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within the furniture, lifestyle, or retail industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a results-driven mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial thinker with strategic acumen and creativity to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field , or equivalent work experience.
  • Candidates with furniture industry experience will have an added advantage.
