Join to apply for the Lead Payroll Specialist – Global Payroll Center of Excellence role at Coherent Corp.

Key Responsibilities

Process payroll for assigned countries with high accuracy and timeliness.
Validate payroll inputs and outputs, including tax, benefits, and deductions.
Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews.
Train, mentor and guide junior payroll staff, ensuring knowledge sharing and skill development.
Collaborate with HR, Finance and external service providers on data integrity and issue resolution.
Participate in ad‑hoc payroll or HR‑related projects as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, or related field.

At least 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi‑country environment.

Strong knowledge of payroll systems, compliance requirements and regulatory frameworks.

Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
