Dental surgical assistant

Anticipate dentist's needs to be prepared for next steps.

Assist the dentist during dental procedures.

Maintain proper patient records.

Give pre & post-op instructions - within the limits designated by the dentist.

Provide oral hygiene instructions to the patient.

Turn on all units, switches and water before the patient sits down.

Stock supplies in operatories, restrooms and lab as needed.

Inform supervisor when supplies need to be re-ordered.

Inform supervisor of broken or malfunctioning equipment.

Perform all duties of steriliser when deemed necessary.

Maintain cleanliness of clinic.

Create and update posts on social media

Other duties as may arise from time to time, and as may be assigned to the employee.
