Purpose

  • This role is part of the Digitalization Team to support Wilhelmsen Ship Management’s digital transformation of crewing activities.
  • This position is mainly responsible for implementing new modules of the CMS

Main responsibilities

  • Supporting the rollout and implementation of the COMPAS application across vessels and shore, ensuring alignment with operational standards, established workflows, and business requirements.
  • Gather feedback and provide input into the maintenance of user support resources, including knowledge articles, quick reference guides, FAQs, and other knowledge management tools, to enable self-service and effective daily operations.
  • Deliver user coaching and practical guidance to promote consistent and efficient application use.
  • Gather user feedback, monitor process effectiveness and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identify, investigate and resolve issues related to the deployment of new processes to minimize disruption and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Qualifications

    Mandatory requirements

  • A minimum of Diploma or higher in any maritime background with at least 2 years of experience in maritime or closely related fields or with 4 to 5 years hands on experience in Maritime crewing and / or crewing processes, including exposure to business applications
  • Knowledge of crewing operations, maritime business processes, or HR processes is highly desirable.
  • A service-oriented, efficient, and structured approach with a proactive mindset.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking – Thinking logically and creatively.
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience in developing and conducting end-user training is an advantage.
