Job descriptionAccurately interprets messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers or support personnel on-site Adheres to the National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Health Care and to the National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care Must always maintain patient confidentiality Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferable with OPI / VRI National or State Interpreter Certification such as CHI, CMI, NIC, CI / CT, VQAS (if available in your language) Knowledge of Medical, Educational, and social services terminology in source and target language 40 hours or more of interpreter training Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, time management, and basic computer skills Fluency in English and the target language with test results to demonstrate fluency Working computer with specific requirements, working headset, and high-speed internet Confidential, quiet, and clean call environment Mid-Senior level Contract Information Technology Internet Publishing
