Lead Expeditor (Contract)

Job responsibilities :
- Lead vendor expediting activities to ensure all materials and equipment are delivered according to the required dates stated in the Purchase Orders (POs).
 - Collaborate with business users and internal stakeholders including Project Management, Commercial, Finance, and Legal teams to identify process gaps and implement corrective or preventive actions.
 - Conduct periodical reviews on Vendor Performance Evaluation, ensuring that supplier performance is measured, documented, and addressed in a timely manner.
 - Monitor vendor progress and delivery status, ensuring that manufacturing, inspection, shipment, and documentation activities comply with project requirements.
 - Identify potential delays or risks and initiate appropriate mitigation measures in consultation with relevant departments.
 - Facilitate effective communication between vendors and internal teams to resolve technical, commercial, or logistical issues that may affect delivery timelines.
 - Maintain up-to-date expediting reports and material tracking logs, highlighting critical items and providing progress summaries for management review.
 - Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues and recommending process enhancements to strengthen supply chain efficiency.
 - Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and HSE standards throughout the expediting process.
 - Provide guidance and support to junior expeditors or project team members involved in material management activities.
 
Requirements :
Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas project environments, with at least 3 years in an expediting role.Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.Note : Only those applicants who meet the above criteria will be contacted as part of the shortlisting process.
