Summary : Customer Service Representative
The position of Customer Service Representative is to handle the entire process of moving an import shipment from booking at origin to release at destination.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Send shipping request to over-sea agent to execute booking for OIA freehand orders.
- Follow up with oversea agent to be updated shipment progress until its delivery to origin port as scheduled and update consignee accordingly.
- Receive pre-alert and cross check shipping document, request amendment for any dispute.
- Declare entry-manifest on-time before shipment arriving HCM Port.
- Receive and issue arrival notice / delivery order to consignee against collection of authorized documents.
- Update POD to over-sea agent.
- Cross check debit statement from related service providers, submit payment request to Accounting and follow up payment to be made on-time, create statement and debit note to send to related oversea offices / customer.
- Obtain freight charges / schedules when needed.
- Ensure daily operation is performed efficiently in accordance with the established SOP of each appropriate program.
- Be active to timely solve any problem, report to superior to find out proper solution if necessary.
- Being the linking bridge for information transacted correctly between shipper / oversea agent & consignee.
- Operate in mind to provide the best service with cost effectiveness and optimal performance, and a pleasant & helpful working attitude with all related parties.
- Update internal data system, shipping schedule, make daily / weekly reports to direct manager or other related teams.
- Perform other extra jobs assigned by direct superiors.
Required Skills and Abilities :

1 year of experience in international Shipping with focus on sea freight operation & 3 PL industry, foreign tradeExcellent customer service skills and knowledge with the mentality of “We work for customers”Education and Experience :
