Danone Specialized Nutrition Malaysia is seeking a Supply Chain Project Manager. This role is designed to lead and drive strategic transformation across the supply chain by championing continuous improvement, optimizing operational processes, and enabling cost‑saving initiatives. The incumbent will play a critical role in managing cross‑functional projects, implementing digital tools, and enhancing system capabilities to support business growth and sustainability. Acting as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners, the role ensures seamless collaboration, compliance, and performance monitoring. With a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, change management, and data‑driven decision‑making, this position contributes to building a resilient, agile, and future‑ready supply chain organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Process Improvement – champion continuous improvement and work with a diverse workforce focused on delivering committed savings.
  • Lead and execute supply chain transformation initiatives, including route‑to‑market optimisation, implementing local cost‑saving and productivity initiatives through logistics optimisation and process redesign, and network design for inventory and cash‑flow efficiency.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with MBU strategy across the supply chain.
  • Drive process enhancement initiatives (e.g., consignment warehouse operations), identifying inefficiencies and implementing sustainable improvements.
  • Develop and implement compliant SOPs across supply chain operations to ensure standardisation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage projects to onboard new vendors, enabling competitive sourcing and unlocking cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional training programmes to address process gaps and maintain supply chain efficiency, particularly in response to workforce transitions or turnover.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of supply chain systems and tools (e.g., ERP, WMS), ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to enhance system functionality and data accuracy.
  • Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics to support data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement.
  • Support audit readiness by identifying and addressing process gaps, and contributing to compliance and governance initiatives.
  • Contribute to corporate reporting efforts, including sustainability and operational performance metrics.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in international business, logistics, operations, business administration or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 2 years project / supply‑chain / manufacturing / activity management experience.
  • Understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain process.
  • IT or tech savvy, including demonstrated experience with electronic project management, resource management and document workflow tools.
  • Power BI expertise is a must.
  • Demonstrated core competencies in team leadership / facilitation, decision‑making, process management, analytical skills, negotiating and conflict‑management skills, risk management, and written and oral communication.
  • Ability to motivate and guide cross‑functional team.
  • Highly developed collaboration skills.
  • Certification in Six Sigma, Kanban or Kaizen will be an added advantage.
