Treasury Analyst

to join our team in Penang. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global stakeholders, leverage cutting-edge treasury systems, and play a key part in transforming our cash management operations.

Primary Job responsibilities

Reporting (40%)

Prepare and deliver insightful treasury reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on cash position, debt utilization, FX, and interest costs for stakeholders including government agencies, tax, audit, and accounting teams.

Support external audit inquiries during interim and year-end audits.

Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for treasury costs.

Partner with the Treasury Manager on acquisition and renewal of credit facilities.

Manage user administration of the Group’s banking systems, serving as one of the key system administrators.

Cash Management & Treasury Systems (40%)

Support banking landscape rationalization and onboarding of new banking partners.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive automation and streamline payment processes (e.g., FIDES integration).

Support the reimplementation and enhancement of the Treasury Management System (TMS).

Monitor TMS performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accuracy in treasury operations.

Drive automation projects within Treasury to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.

Process Improvement (20%)

Review and analyse treasury processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of treasury policies and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

7+ years of experience

in treasury, finance, or related transformation roles.

Strong knowledge of

Treasury Management Systems.

Good proficiency in

Microsoft Excel

; strong analytical and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
