Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Logistics, or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in import and export logistics operations; LMW business operation experience is preferred.
2. Proficient in both Mandarin and English, capable of using both as working languages.
3. Familiar with customs tariff classification knowledge, able to complete the classification and review of basic products; Proficient in rules of origin and able to complete certificate of origin processing.
4. Familiar with foreign trade import and export processes, as well as international trade regulations and terms; Familiar with import and export document operations, and proficient in preparing collection documents, customs declaration documents, inspection declaration documents, etc.
5. Meticulous and detail-oriented, with strong learning and communication skills, a sense of innovation and execution, and certain communication and stress resistance abilities.
6. Proficient in using PC office software packages such as Word, Excel, and PPT.
Responsibilities
- Based on the company's procurement / sales plan, coordinate with customs brokers and carriers to complete customs clearance (including import / export / transshipment), local inspections (such as K1, K2 inspections), and handle exceptions, ensuring efficient and compliant processes that meet MITI and Royal Malaysian Customs requirements.
- Familiar with the Malaysian customs system, ensure accurate declaration data, and promptly handle tariff disputes or audits.
- Responsible for the application, renewal, and maintenance of the company's import and export qualifications (such as AP licenses, Halal certification, STRID registration), ensuring that import and export documents comply with MITI and FTA requirements and mitigating compliance risks.
- Strictly implement the LMW customs bonded warehouse management system, including inventory counts, goods movement declarations (such as Form 8), and annual audit cooperation, ensuring compliance with the Customs Act 1967.
- Regularly submit customs reports (such as monthly / quarterly reports) and cooperate with customs surprise inspections (such as compliance reviews by Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia).
- Dynamically track Malaysian customs policies (such as SST tax rate adjustments, updates to import and export restriction lists) and MITI trade notifications, promptly adjust operating procedures, and train relevant departments.
- Maintain relationships with government agencies such as customs and MITI, and efficiently handle emergencies such as inspections and cargo detentions.
