Associate, Account Receivable (6 months contract)

This role will be assisting in processing incoming payments from clients, insurers, reinsurers, and other parties, and resolving any issues or discrepancies related to receipts or outstanding invoices. The role also involves supporting the month-end closing process, general ledger activities, reconciling accounts receivable balances, and providing necessary reports and documentation as and when required. The role will contribute to the financial operational efficiency of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create receipt entries in the systems and perform matching against invoices, ensuring transactions are captured timely and accurately.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables from clients, insurers, and reinsurers to ensure timely collection.
  • Prepare and process receipts from clients and other parties, ensuring proper allocation and adherence to internal controls.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to receipts or outstanding invoices promptly.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable balances and maintain accurate records in the system.
  • Support the month-end closing process, general ledger activities, and provide necessary reports and documentation when required.
  • Assist in preparing aging reports and other receivable-related analysis for management review.
  • Perform other ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the management.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Company and / or Group policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and deal with correspondence appropriately.
  • Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in accounts payable including general ledger or a similar finance role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, able to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
