Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the Backend Process.
  • Provide manufacturing and equipment support in a rapidly changing development and high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to schematics, manuals, or specifications.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment.
  • Resolve non-standard problems independently and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Manage own activities and support team activities as a self-starter.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on new equipment installations and improvements.

Qualifications

REQUIRED :

  • Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
  • Preferred :

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC software / hardware issues.
  • Ability to read schematics, use hand tools, electrical gauges, and test equipment.
  • Understanding of PLC systems and vision systems (an advantage).
  • Attention to detail, troubleshooting methodology, and project management skills.
  • Leadership qualities for training and mentoring technicians.
  • Experience with Auto VMI, Auto Labeling, and Auto Packing equipment / processes (preferred).
  • Skills

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with peers, engineering, and management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
