Overview
Shopify Product Owner – WP Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Product Owner will take on roles including client manager, technical analyst, business consultant, and project manager as part of an integrated technology product team. Responsibilities
Develop and own Shopify product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Conduct store audits to identify strategic opportunities for growth, conversion, and optimization. Manage end-to-end delivery of Shopify projects from requirements gathering to go-live. Translate client needs and requirements into actionable tasks for UX / UI, developers, and QA. Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Set up and maintain a clear end-to-end product process in ClickUp, integrating internal and external teams to ensure transparency and quality delivery. Deliver scalable Shopify solutions in collaboration with UX / UI and development teams. Ensure all releases meet QA sign-off standards and client expectations before launch. Ensure smooth integration of apps, custom features, and third-party systems (ERP, CRM, payment / shipping). Monitor store performance and use data insights to identify CRO opportunities and suggest optimization roadmaps. Suggest and implement post-launch improvements to drive client ROI. Serve as the primary client-facing leader on Shopify projects, guiding cross-functional teams. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention. Track project progress, risks, and dependencies while ensuring timely delivery. Qualifications
Proven track record in Shopify store management, project delivery, or product ownership (Shopify Plus and complex integrations a must). Strong understanding of eCommerce fundamentals (conversion, UX, payments, logistics) with a technical background in APIs, apps, and integrations. Experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or eCommerce Consultant, ideally in an agency or consultancy environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements into client-friendly language. Strong eye for detail, organized, proactive, and results-oriented with appreciation for QA and testing.
