Job descriptionLiaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities during annual audit and tax submissions. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements. Establish and monitor internal control processes to safeguard company assets. Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record-keeping for audit and compliance purposes. Conduct internal checks, stock take monitoring, and ensure compliance with SOPs. Highlight compliance risks and propose corrective measures to management. Assist in developing and improving finance policies, SOPs, and reporting systems. Work closely with management to provide financial insights that support decision-making. Support ad-hoc finance, compliance, and operational assignments as required. Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL, cash flow, fixed assets, and inventory).
- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and financial statements for management review.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing.
- Perform bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Manage payments, collections, and monitoring of company cash flow.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
