Organizes and directs the provision of nursing services ensuring provision of a safe, effective and efficient care environment for patients, relatives and careers. Responsible for coordinating staff to assure that effective nursing services are provided, and quality standards are met. Ensure a multidisciplinary team approach to care is utilized in conjunction with the Allied Healthcare teams. Develop and maintain an environment that supports the professional nurse and allied health staff.
Collaborates with nursing and allied health staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive officers and other stakeholders in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and services.
Leads the nursing team and is responsible for the overall service delivery.
Contributes to investigations of complaints and incidents and drafts responses as required in a timely manner.
Takes responsibility for budgetary and resource management, all aspects of quality assurance and performance management and provides advice and feedback to the Senior Management Team on service specific issues.
Job Requirement :
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
State Registered Nurse registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
Must possess current practicing license.
At least three (8) years working experience as a staff nurse.
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Effective interpersonal relationship and communication skills.
Management ability to plan and organize in an effective and productive manner.
Ability to exercise good judgment, initiative and resourcefulness in directing the activities of the assigned areas.
