Responsibilities

  • Provide technical pre-sales support in articulating infrastructure design with in-depth product knowledge on technologies such as Data Centre, Collaboration, Network, and Security solutions.
  • Drive solution sales by understanding clients’ technical needs and translating them into solutions.
  • Develop pre-sales skills on OEM technologies like Cisco, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Dell / EMC, HPE, VMware, F5 DNS, and LTM.
  • Prepare proposals and support RFQ / RFP tenders in a shared centre environment, ensuring timely responses.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders for requirement gathering via phone or collaboration tools.
  • Lead discussions with clients to discover needs and gather information.
  • Document needs into solutions, validate with clients, and close with a proposal, translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Craft initial bills of material / configurations for complex solutions, selecting suitable models based on capacity and sizing features.
  • Assess client infrastructure and propose relevant solutions and scope of technical services for end-to-end implementation.
  • Facilitate and lead complex solutioning, working with clients, principals, vendors, and internal teams for support, integration, and design.
  • Estimate man-days and craft project implementation work breakdown structures, including timelines.
  • Create network diagrams in Visio and prepare PowerPoint presentations translating business requirements into technical designs.
  • Adhere to pre-sales processes and collaboration tools to communicate and deliver results.
  • Perform self-research on new OEM products to keep up with evolving solution offerings.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Experience level : Freshers.
  • Excellent technical sales and communication skills.
  • Passion for new technologies and self-motivated learning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for consolidating complex bills of materials, design synchronization, and P&L management.
  • Deep skills in at least one technology tower (Networking, Data Centre, Security, or Collaboration) with relevant professional certifications such as :
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • Additional certifications in Gartner’s leader solutions in Networking, Data Centre Storage, Server, Backup, Security, or Collaboration (e.g., Cisco, Avaya)
