Primary Objective

Manage the Projects under CCRIS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assure the Bank is in compliance with BNM SREF requirements issued in 2016.
  • Assist in the compilation of SREF (monthly / ad-hoc) where necessary.
  • Coordinate and manage, collaborating with the CCRIS team to ensure proper validated data; accuracy of data is submitted to BNM.
  • Manage the CCRIS Projects Unit of the Bank and RHB Islamic Bank and ensure the unit timely submission of weekly and month-end CCRIS data files to BNM; respond to CCRIS Data Verification queries within the deadline set; coordinate CCRIS data cleansing activities with system owners, business units and IT.
  • Rectify differences between FISS and CCRS / extraction issues that require changes in IT with CCRIS / other.
  • Lead CCRIS related projects to ensure successful completion.
  • Lead the CCRIS team and project team for the Banking Group to comply with CCRIS Guidelines and timeline for data submission to BNM.
  • Lead the CCRIS team in addressing rejected data, data quality, monthly SREF reporting, and properly tracking responsible parties (be it CCRIS / others) to document and update progress.
  • Analyze rejected data from BNM and Bank IT for solutions to rectify and resolve all CCRIS data.
  • Coordinate CCRIS team to initiate change requests to IT for program fixes and cater for new reporting requirements; participate actively in UATs and provide sign-offs to IT to promote relevant changes to production environment.
  • Participate in the Bank's new projects or enhancements to systems that impact CCRIS and conduct UATs.
  • Handle enhancements data extraction program changes and ensure they meet CCRIS reporting requirements.
  • Assist on SREF issued by BNM / monthly SREF when necessary with the collaboration of Head, CCRIS.
  • Analyze DQ trend from month to month to identify any shortcomings in extractions for CCRIS.
