Technical Training Coordinator (Semiconductor)

Develop and manage annual training plans in collaboration with department heads and HR.
Schedule and coordinate training sessions with internal SMEs, external trainers, and equipment vendors.
Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and certification databases.
Training Delivery (Selective)
Conduct selected technical training sessions (e.g., new hire onboarding, safety, core process knowledge, and basic troubleshooting).
Facilitate refresher courses and ensure knowledge reinforcement across production and engineering teams.
Provide coaching support for operators and technicians where needed.
Collaborate with technical leaders to keep training modules current with process changes, equipment upgrades, and new technology introductions.
Align training content with competency frameworks and skill matrices.
Ensure standardization of training materials across sites and functions.
Certification, Assessment & Compliance
Develop and administer technical assessments to measure competency progress and readiness.
Implement certification programs to validate skill levels and compliance to industry standards.
Track training effectiveness and ensure compliance with industry, customer, and audit requirements.
Support certification programs and regulatory training documentation.
Collect feedback and measure training effectiveness against productivity, quality, and OEE metrics.
Propose improvements to training methodologies, including digital platforms and simulation-based learning.
Generate training reports for management review.
Job Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical Education, HRD, or any related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in OSAT / semiconductor manufacturing, technical training, or engineering.
Strong understanding of semiconductor processes (frontend and / or backend).
Experience in training coordination, program management, and basic facilitation.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with training systems, LMS, and certification tracking.
Ability to read, write and communicate in Mandarin language due to regular communication with supporters / trainers from China and utilization of Chinese training materials.
HRD Corp Trainer certification, CTT+ or similar is a plus.
