Job Summary

Supermicro is seeking a Senior System Product Manager to lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for system products at our Malaysia facility. This role ensures smooth transitions from design to production through effective SOP development, pilot build readiness, and successful First Article Inspection (FAI). Close collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to meet product roadmap and quality expectations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) processes for the Malaysia factory, ensuring seamless transitions from design to production.
• Oversee and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), prepare for production pilot runs, and ensure the successful completion of First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Provide expert assistance to production teams in resolving complex system‑level technical issues, ensuring efficient problem‑solving.
• Direct and meticulously review Failure Analysis (FA) processes for any production quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Drive and support server business development initiatives across the South Asia region, identifying growth opportunities and strategic partnerships.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the product lifecycle, aligning product roadmaps with business objectives and market demands.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the product management team.
• Possess experience with Server Motherboard (MB) / system project development processes and familiarity with operating systems such as Windows Server, Ubuntu, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux will be an advantage for candidates.
