PLC Engineer

Job descriptionBachelors\' Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 2 years working experience in automation related (PLC Systems). Knowledge in Siemens PLC programming is an added advantage. Experience with PLC software platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA and WinCC). Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Profinet, Profibus). Proficient in MS Office. Works well with others, as well as independently under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement Siemens PLC and HMI systems for material handling systems and monitor equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems, PLC programming and HMI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that automation solutions meet operational needs and safety standards.
- Perform factory acceptance test (FAT) and site acceptance test (SAT) and termination schedule.
- Identify any breakdowns and perform troubleshooting or provide technical support as necessary.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of company’s products and systems before handover to customers.
- Able to undertake extensive travel locally and overseas.
